Ours doesn’t. Every key, port, fader and screen stays exposed and usable with the bumper fitted. Put it on when you unbox the device and take it off never.
The layer that never comes off
Hard covers and padded bags protect gear in transit, then get removed the moment you want to use it — which is exactly when it gets dropped. A Shore 95A elastomer bumper stays on, and adds almost nothing to what you carry.

It stretches over the corners and retracts. No clips or latches to fatigue — the material is the latch. Nothing in normal handling works it loose, but peel a corner deliberately and it's off.
Nothing to snag
No hinges, latches or straps standing off the body. It follows the shape of the device rather than boxing it, so it drops into the bag you already carry instead of needing one of its own.
It grips the desk
Elastomer has friction where a hard shell has none. On a sloped desk, a lap or a car seat, the device stays where you put it.

Fader-clearance bumper for the TX-6. Every fader, knob, button and port stays exposed and usable with it fitted — and a bed in the back takes a credit-card tracker, so the mixer shows up in Find My. The tracker card is not included.
